RTV Euro AGD to launch store in Skałka shopping centre


 Retail chain RTV Euro AGD, offering consumer electronics and home appliances, has leased approx. 800 sq m in the Skałka shopping centre in Tychy.

Tomasz Siedlecki, Marketing Director, RTV Euro AGD, comments: „We make a decision about the launching of a new RTV Euro AGD store only after a thorough analysis of the local market has been conducted. We believe in the growth prospects of the retail market in Tychy. Furthermore, the potential of the Skałka shopping centre - which has an excellent location and catchment area – is very important to us. Such a combination of advantages will allow RTV Euro AGD to attract new customers."

International advisory firm JLL acts as the sole commercialization agent for Skałka shopping centre.

Grażyna Melibruda, Associate Director, Retail Agency, JLL, says: "We are glad to welcome such a well-known brand as RTV Euro AGD to our group of tenants. Skałka will be characterized by an extensive and varied shopping offer. Furthermore, it will also provide a developed services and restaurant area. Currently, we are conducting negotiations with tenants from the fashion, accessories and sport sector, and soon we will announce new lease agreements".

Centrum Skałka is a development project of a shopping centre that includes the existing Auchan hypermarket, OBI DIY store and an extensive fashion, services and restaurant offer. Apollo-Rida is planning to develop a modern shopping centre comprising, apart from the aforementioned Auchan and OBI, over 100 stores of well-known Polish and international fashion brands, restaurants and services. Ultimately, Skałka will offer approx. 45,000 sqm of GLA. Furthermore, there are plans for an attractive public space with fountains and an amphitheater providing entertainment, and other community events. In addition, visitors will have over 1,400 parking spaces at their disposal.

Another important advantage of Skałka is its location in the centre of the city and at the heart of six residential projects. It is also in close proximity to a major road junction with excellent access to public transportation.
