Arkońska Business Park moves on with second phase

Gdańsk, Poland

Gdańsk, 3rd February 2009 - On behalf of Torus Inwestycje, Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to announce that the construction works of Arkońska Business Park phase II are moving forward. After completing the underground floors for car parking, works have begun on the upper floors.

Arkońska Business Park, located on ul. Arkońska in Gdańsk, is a complex of five office buildings offering almost 30,000 sqm space respectively in phase I (2 buildings) & II (3 buildings). All buildings provide modern, highly effective and flexible office space for tenants looking for a strong location in Gdańsk. The timeless, elegant  architecture designed by APA Wojciechowski and the building’s elevations covered with a combination of glass, aluminium and high quality bricks, position this development as one of the best in the Tri-City area.

Arkońska Business Park I, opened in H1 2008, is 100%.

Magdalena Reńska, Head of Gdańsk office of Jones Lang LaSalle, the exclusive agent on Arkońska Business Park, said: “Torus Inwestycje is a perfect example of the Polish developer who has been very successful on the office market. In our recently published report on Tri-City, we stress that this market is dominated by many local developers including Torus Inwestycje.

We believe that Arkońska Business Park phase II, one of a very few office developments currently under construction and to be completed this year, will be successful at its first stage. A good indicator is that the first lease agreement for 2,300 sqm in Arkońska Business Park phase II has been already signed. We observe increasing interest from tenants looking for modern office space in the Tri-City area, where the supply is significantly limited. Pre-leasing interest and agreements have recently increased on the prime developments in the market.”
