Jones Lang LaSalle Announces the Promotion of National Directors

Warsaw, 6 September 2011 - Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to announce the promotion of a number of National Directors, effective from 1st July 2011.

Joanna Gajewska-Sokołowska has been promoted to National Director. The Lease Administration Operations Director for EMEA since the creation of this business unit in 2006, Joanna oversees the operations of Lease Administration in the region, supervising client services, project management, staffing, training and the day-to-day management of the Warsaw office. She has fourteen years’ professional experience, twelve of which are in the finance and real estate sectors. In addition to holding a Magister Degree in Economics, Joanna has also completed Postgraduate Studies in Valuation.
Anna Bartoszewicz-Wnuk has been promoted to National Director. Anna has been with the company for the last eleven years, six as head of the Research & Consultancy team, which now consists of eight people. Anna graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and City University/ CASS Business School, where she completed an MSc in Real Estate Investment in 2005. Since 1st July 2011, Anna has also been responsible for PR at Jones Lang LaSalle in Poland. In her PR role, Anna is supported by Karolina Margielewska, who has re-joined the Warsaw office as a PR Specialist.
Marek Jamro has been promoted to National Director in the Valuation Department. Marek has ten years’ experience at Jones Lang LaSalle, with a primary focus on the warehouse and office sectors across the region. In 2007, he became an Associate Director. A graduate of the Academy of Economy in Katowice in 1999 with a Magister degree in Economics, specialising in Transport and Logistics, Marek has been a Polish Licensed Valuer since 2002 (Registration No. 3844). He gained an MSc in Property Valuation & Management from Sheffield Hallam in 2010 and is currently applying for membership of the RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).

Paweł Warda has been promoted to National Director. As the Head of Project and Development Services CEE & SEE Paweł took an overall responsibility for the P&DS in the region whilst continuing as Head of Poland PDS. Paweł has been working at Jones Lang LaSalle for six years. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology and gained an Executive MBA from WUT Business School (a course founded jointly with the London Business School). He is an LEED Accredited Professional, with certification granted by GBCI (USGBC), an organization certifying sustainable buildings.

Virginie de Baere has been promoted to Head of Property Management in the Czech Republic. After recently relocating from Poland to the Czech Republic, Virginie is now responsible for Property Management services in the Czech and Slovak Republics. In addition to thirteen years’ professional experience in the property market, the last ten of which have been spent in Central Europe, Virginie is an Economics graduate of the University of Gent in Belgium and a graduate of an RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accredited course in Property Appraisal and Management at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
Glyn Evans, based in the Czech Republic, has been promoted to National Director, focused on business development and providing senior consultancy to the clients in the CEE & SEE region. Glyn has more than ten years’ experience in real estate. Since 2005 Glyn has been based in Prague, responsible for co-ordinating Project Management & Building Surveying across the region. He graduated, in Building Surveying, from Leeds University in the UK, became a member of the RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) in 2002 and was elected chairman of RICS Czech Republic in 2009.

Jaroslav Kopac, based in Hungary, has been promoted to National Director. Jaroslav is responsible for the delivery of valuation advice for a wide range of purposes to investment funds, banks, developers, owner-occupiers and private investors. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2008 as head of the Valuation Department and has twelve years’ experience in working in real estate in the CEE region. A graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the College of Estate Management in the UK, in 2006 Jaroslav became a member of the RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).

Benjamin Perez-Ellischewitz, based in Budapest, has been promoted to National Director. He is responsible for leading and developing the Capital Markets team. The primary activities of the team include investment advice in Hungary covering offices, retail and logistic assets. Benjamin joined the Capital Market team in Jones Lang LaSalle in 2007. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau and an MSc. in Business Administration from Rouen Business School. He is currently taking an MSc in Property Investments at the University of Reading in the UK.
