Jones Lang LaSalle to manage Forum Gliwice

The company provides comprehensive property management services and conducts the re-commercialisation process of one of Katowice Agglomeration's leading shopping and entertainment centres

Warsaw, 28 November 2013 - Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed property manager of the Forum Gliwice shopping and entertainment centre. The company is responsible for the supervision of operational, technical, financial and marketing processes, as well as the asset’s re-commercialization. The owner of Forum Gliwice, German investment fund Deka Immobilien GmbH, handed over these responsibilities to Jones Lang LaSalle at the beginning of November.
The popular Forum Gliwice is strategically located in the centre of one of the most dynamically developing cities in the Silesia region, in the block between Lipowa, Opolska, Traugutta and Witkiewicza streets. The centre, commissioned for use in June 2007, is located within a 15 minute drive from the Gliwice – Sośnica, motorway intersection – the largest transport hub in Central Europe. A bus and railway station are also located in close proximity to the centre. The 43,000 sq m of office space accommodate 140 shops and service units. The property’s tenant portfolio includes Carrefour as well as popular Polish and international fashion brands such as Reserved and Mohito from the LPP group portfolio and Zara and Bershka from the Inditex portfolio. One of the centre’s main assets is its entertainment amenities which include a 13 – screen Cinema City multiplex, a gym and other sports facilities as well as numerous cafes and restaurant.

The firm is also responsible for the re-commercialization process and providing project and development services.
