JLL advised in 40% of volume of lease agreements signed by business services companies on the Polish office market in 2013


Warsaw, 31 March 2014 – In 2013, companies from the business services sector leased over 220,000 sq m of office space in Poland, out of which ca. 40% were deals signed with JLL’s advisory, making the company the market leader in this area of real estate expertise.

Anna Młyniec, Head of Office Agency and Tenant Representation, JLL commented: ”In 2013, JLL advised on lease agreements totalling 85,000 sq m of office space signed by the business service sector companies. Clients from the sector, for whom we provided advisory services, include Cisco, Credit Suisse, BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank, First Data, IBM, ING Services or Samsung R&D, to name but a few”.

JLL was the first real estate advisory firm to understand the potential of the business services as a leading sector of the Polish economy and as a key tenant of office space in markets outside Warsaw. According to JLL’s data, companies from the sector occupy approximately 50% of total office space in Kraków, 36% in Łódź and 35% in Wrocław. In 2013 business services sector companies leased approximately 200,000 sq m of office space outside Warsaw, which is, when the capital city is excluded, about 50% of Poland's total office space demand.
