Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament collects record amount for charity

Nearly 187 000 PLN was collected for the Happy Kids foundation during the 5th Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament. Total of 1,000 guests, including 224 players in 32 teams took part in the event organized by JLL.

On July 31st, the 5th Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament organized by JLL, the international advisory company was held in the La Playa Music Bar, Warsaw. Around 1,000 guests took part in the event. During the Tournament, a record 187 000 PLN was collected on behalf of the Happy Kids foundation to support the financing of a new family-type children's home in Dąbrówka near Zgierz. Tomasz Trzósło, Managing Director of JLL Poland handed the cheque over to Aleksander Katarasiński, President of the Happy Kids foundation.

Tomasz Trzósło, Managing Director, JLL Poland, commented: "The 5th edition of the Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament broke every record: 32 teams, 224 players, 1,000 participants and 70 companies supporting the event. However, the most important figure was the record amount of money collected, almost 187,000 PLN, donated to the Happy Kids foundation. We are delighted with this result and we wish to thank all the players, partners, sponsors and guests for their participation as well as for their support and cooperation. We hope to meet you all next year."

32 teams (224 players) competed in the volleyball matches. The players represented both international and Polish companies from the real estate sector, including Adgar Poland, Balmain Asset Management, BlackRock, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Capital Park, CBRE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, Dentons/VALAD, DTZ, Echo Investment, ECI, Evigo, Ghelamco, HB Reavis, Heitman, JLL, Knight Frank, Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, MLP Group, Multi Development Poland, NAI Estate Fellows, Neinver, Panattoni Europe, Prologis, PZU Inwestycje, Savills, SEGRO, Skanska, TriGranit together with TPA Horwath, Unibail-Rodamco and Warbud. After a head -to -head competition, the team of TriGranit and TPA Horwath proved to be victorious, with the team from Prologis in second place, and MLP Group third.

The Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament has already become one of the most important real estate industry events. It has been organized by JLL for the fifth time. The event's growing popularity illustrates the importance that companies attach to CSR initiatives and the major role that corporate social responsibility plays in their corporate cultures.


This year JLL celebrates the 20th anniversary of its presence in Poland. The Warsaw office was established in 1994 and since then, the company has become the leading provider of real estate services in Poland.
