Lose Your Kilowatts starts today

DTZ, JLL, Knight Frank, Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, Skanska and Stena Recycling organize the third electrical waste collection initiative

The Lose Your Kilowatts initiative, during which e-waste will be collected from selected office and industrial buildings, starts today. The campaign's goal is to spread a pro-ecological approach among employees working in commercial schemes as well as providing support for a selected charity.

The collection of electrical waste (used electronics and electrical equipment) has been organized by six international companies (DTZ, JLL, Knight Frank, Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, Skanska and Stena Recycling) and will continue until April 23rd.

There will be special containers in buildings located in Warsaw, Katowice, Łódź, Poznań, Tri-City, Wrocław and Kraków where employees will be able to dispose of their e-waste. The proceeds  collected from the selling of this obsolete waste will be donated to Nasz Dom im. Maryny Falskiej, a Warsaw orphanage.

Ewelina Karpińska, CEE Sustainability Coordinator at JLL, comments: "On behalf of DTZ, JLL, Knight Frank, Kulczyk Silverstein Properties, Skanska and Stena Recycling we would  like to encourage people to take part in our initiative  which can help both children and the environment".
