JLL’s management board appoints Agata Sekuła as International Director

​The global management board of advisory firm JLL has announced promotions to the highest directors' positions in the company's structures. Agata Sekuła, Head of Retail Investment CEE at JLL, has been appointed from Regional Director to International Director – JLL's most senior leadership level. She is the second person and the first woman from JLL's CEE structure, as well as one of 45 women globally to hold such a senior position in the company.

Agata Sekuła has over 17 years' experience in the CEE retail investment market. She has participated in numerous financing deals including development debt, investment debt, equity raising, sales and acquisition and sale and leaseback transactions as well as portfolio deals. She is one of the most recognized retail experts in the CEE region. JLL's team specializing in retail investment transactions finalized deals in excess of €7 billion under her leadership.

Tomasz Trzósło, Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets JLL Poland, comments: "This year in the EMEA region, eight people were appointed as International Directors. One of them is Agata Sekuła. It is hard to imagine a more well-deserved promotion. It is Agata who built from scratch the whole CEE retail investment team and participated in the largest transactions of retail schemes in our market's history."

During her career Agata represented the leading retail investors from this part of the world, advising on sale and acquisition deals in Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary. These deals included Silesia City Center in Katowice, Manufaktura in Łódź, Olimpia in Brno, Magnolia and Galeria Dominikańska in Wrocław, Promenada in Warsaw, Plac Flora in Prague, Promenada Mall in Bucharest, Focus Mall in Bydgoszcz or Focus Park in Rybnik, and many more. She joined JLL in 1998.

Agata graduated in Law and Administration from the University of Warsaw.
