Over 70 ambassadors of change

Coca-Cola HBC Polska has relocated to a new office in Warsaw. The move was due to its expansion and the fact that its previous location could no longer cope with the size of the company, and lacked specific facilities and amenities required by the tenant. JLL experts, in a workplace strategy report, also identified Coca-Cola’s need to relocate.

Coca Cola is a brand which of course is known throughout the world. The company's previous office was located in Warsaw's Annopol district, but for some time it did not fully reflect the company's potential. The lack of places to work in silence, insufficient natural light, the building’s layout and infrastructure were just some of the aspects that needed updating.

This process - although difficult - can be successful with good planning and effective implementation. Experts from JLL, who were responsible for issues related to the working environment, conducted a study on the effectiveness of the office space at the time and identified the areas that needed transformation. Such a detailed analysis helped in understanding the entire process of the upcoming change.

Over 70 Coca Cola employees, who were appointed ambassadors of change, put a great deal of effort, creativity and personal commitment to create a new and truly unique place to work. With the help of JLL’s experts, these ambassadors were divided into three groups and introduced many creative ideas during joint meetings and brainstorming sessions. Coca Cola was then able to usher in a new work culture for the company. Flexitime has been introduced, as has the possibility of remote working from home, as well as the systematization of meeting times, which now take place only between 10:00 am. and 3.00. pm.

Coca Cola has consolidated the activities of three separate offices into the new location. During the selection process, it was important for the company to have spaces that met the wellness criteria, which would stimulate creativity and help maintain a healthy lifestyle. Finally, the company decided on an area of 5,500 sq m in Business Garden in Warsaw with exclusive access to two spacious terraces, and an area with great development potential in a way that will support both business and personal development.

Over 92% of employees said they were happy with the relocation. Coca Cola organizes many trips for its clients, partners, families and friends to show them the new office. The company also runs many meetings and events at its new headquarters, and together with JLL’s experts have created a very comfortable working environment.
