Galeria Wisła's tenth year was a very successful one for the shopping centre that is located in Płock. It was further strengthened by a modern food court zone as well as shops including brands such as TUI or Vox Gadget. Many current tenants of Galeria Wisła, which include Apart, Inglot, Calzedonia or Venezia have also decided to renew their lease deals. 2018 saw tenants sign lease contracts for a total of more than 2,400 sq m of space.

"Galeria Wisła has undergone changes in order to improve the functionality of the centre and to tailor the offer to both current and future customer needs. For example, we have changed the location of the food court zone and moved it from the second floor to the first. It can now be found in the walkway between the entrance to the shopping centre and the entertainment zone. Furthermore, the centre's portfolio expanded with several new brands while 21 tenants have decided to renew their lease agreements, which illustrates their long-term trust. And this is not the end - CCC recently announced its decision to open a flagship, 1,700 sqm two-floor store. In addition, the very popular TK Maxx will soon open here its first store in Płock", says Hubert Oleksiak, Senior Consultant, Retail Agency, JLL.

In 2018, the tenant portfolio was joined by Płock Cultural and Art Centre, TUI, Vox Gadget, New York Hot Dog stand. Moreover, the new food court zone has attracted restaurants such as Olimp, Like Thai, Pizza Hut Express and Erbil Kebab.

In turn, stores such as Apart, Big Star, Bytom, Calzedonia, Inglot, Monnari, Venezia, Solar, Tatuum, Jankes Moda, Me Like You, pharmacy, money exchange, Millennium, Erdom, Grycan, Rainbow Tours, Cyfrowy Polsat and T-Mobile have all renewed their lease agreements in Galeria Wisła. The needs of certain tenants have changed in the previous year as well. Big Star clothing brand decided to increase the area of their store, expanding from 131 sq m to 251 sq m. Venezia clothing chain took a similar step and grew from 76 sq m to 110 sq m while Rossmann took an additional space and currently occupies 366 sqm.

"The success of Galeria Wisła is a result of numerous factors. It has an excellent location, right in the center of Podolszyce - the largest district of Płock. Furthermore, the combination of shopping, F&B, and entertainment features such as a cinema, bowling alley, cafes and restaurants, means the centre is a perfect place to meet with family and friends ", comments Hubert Oleksiak.

Galeria Wisła is a state-of-the-art, four-storey shopping centre providing more than 120 shops and services points. Tenants of Galeria Wisła include, i.a., Helios cinema, RTV Euro AGD store and Piotr i Paweł supermarket.
