Axell to strengthen its position in Poland
Axell Group, a Dutch logistics operator, has leased 5,000 sq m of industrial space at SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice. Experts from JLL represented the company in the processes of selecting the location and negotiating favorable lease terms.
Axell Logistics provides a wide range of services, including full truck load services, groupage transport along with an extensive range of warehousing services for clients from the FMCG, production and e-commerce sectors as well as value-added services related to reverse logistics, packaging, and creating ready-made promotional stands
"Our company is investing in Gliwice, where our branch, which began as a satellite location, is now a standalone entity, and a distribution hub within the groupage pallet network with cross-dock functions. We chose SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice due to the fact that we want to further develop our business in Silesia. With this in mind, SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice provides us with an excellent opportunity for further expansion", says Remigiusz Gumowski, Managing Director at Axell Logistics. From SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice, the company will support its clients in the retail and FMCG industries as well as electronics distribution.

SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice is located on a 48-hectare parcel and will ultimately offer approx. 200,000 sq m of state-of-the-art warehouse and manufacturing space. SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice is located in close proximity to the A4 motorway linking Kraków and Wrocław, and Poland's western border. Furthermore, the A1/A4 motorway intersection, linking the Northern and Southern Poland, is just a few kilometres from the warehouse park. The park's vicinity also provides an alternative road network, including DK 88, which allows for easy communication with the entire Silesian metropolitan area.
