Celebrating JLL's 30 years in Poland

For 3 decades the Polish real estate market has changed beyond recognition. For our company, it was a remarkable time of development, and above all a time of the commitment on the part of the people - the employees of JLL, who not only observed these changes, but were their integral part.

The first stop on JLL's development path in Poland was Warsaw, where in 1994 our first office opened with only 20 employees on board. This was followed by Gdansk, where we launched our first regional office in 2008. Immediately after that, also in 2008, we added an office in Krakow and further regional branches in Katowice, Lodz and Wroclaw. The company then expanded by acquiring King Sturge.

Under the slogan ‘Better together’, JLL has over the years been building a portfolio of comprehensive consulting services. Baza Biur- Office Finder, which catalogues a vast offer of real estate for lease, was created by Polish experts in 2011 and is now making a name for itself in more European countries, including Germany, Switzerland, as well as countries in the Middle East.

In 2016, the company consolidated all of its Warsaw branches and moved into Warsaw Spire, where JLL specialists still watch over the capital's skyline from the 29th and 30th floors. Meanwhile, a transaction completed in 2018 -  - the merger with REAS, a leader in residential consultancy - made JLL the first consulting company to integrate experts serving all segments of the real estate market in Poland. Since 1994, the number of employees has grown from 20 to 2000.

As leaders of the Polish real estate market, we have been uniting companies from the sector through community efforts for years. In 2010, we initiated the Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament of the Real Estate Industry. To date, through thirteen editions of the event we have collectively raised as much as PLN 5.6 million for charitable causes.

Our actions are driven by our guiding principle - ‘See a brighter way’, emphasising JLL's role in guiding a bright future for space development, technology and with respect for ESG issues. The company uses advanced technology to create the best business opportunities, exceptional spaces and solutions that bring long-term benefits to clients, employees and communities.
