March 16, 2018

The object was developed by Goodman and serves as a consolidation warehouse for PepsiCo logistics operations. Experts from JLL represented ID Logistics during the processes of negotiation as well as the formulation of a long-term lease strategy.

The logistics centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki is currently the largest PepsiCo warehouse in Poland. At the moment, ID Logistics handles from this location the majority of export flows from PepsiCo factories to countries in Central Europe and manages shuttle transportation between manufacturing facilities and some of the distribution lines. In addition, in the next few months, the company will begin delivering products to regional distribution centers and selected key customers.

"The new logistics centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki is in close proximity to the A2 motorway - which is of course of paramount importance in the transportation of goods from PepsiCo factories. When considering new industrial space it was also important to ensure a short delivery time of the property along with the possibility of future expansion. ID Logistics' new warehouse is certainly great news for the local labor market. Currently the company has nearly 100 employees at the location. Considering the ambitious plans ID Logistics has for the centre, the company can certainly expect to be in a position to offer more work positions in the future", explains Tomasz Mika, Head of Industrial Poland, JLL.

In the process of selecting the location for its new center, ID Logistics co-operated closely with experts from JLL.

"JLL is our strategic partner and will represent ID Logistics in most of the issues related to the property itself. JLL's experience and in-depth knowledge of the market can help us quickly identify solutions that are best suited to our needs. Our long-term cooperation helps us effectively select properties suitable for solutions in the area of contract logistics that we offer our customers," comments Yann Belgy, General Manager at ID Logistics in Poland.
