Mazda opens training centre

Mazda Motor Poland has opened its training centre in Warsaw's Służewiec.

July 19, 2019

The Japanese car manufacturer has leased nearly 450 sq m of office space in Marynarska Point 2 building, where it has opened its first professional training centre for employees in Poland. In this new location, where the Mazda team now has the opportunity to learn about, among other things, technological innovations introduced by the company, there are rooms for theoretical classes and space for practical training. In the process of looking for a suitable location and negotiating the lease terms, Mazda Motor Poland was advised by JLL experts. The building's owner, Bluehouse Capital fund, was represented by Savills and Kucharski & Partners law firm.

"The process of searching for an office that could meet our technical requirements was difficult and time-consuming. Our cars, as well as various devices for their service, must be located in our centre which is an unusual requirement with regard to office space. These expectations were met by the Marynarska Point 2 complex. Another advantage of this complex is its location - near the Warsaw bypass and our current office. We are pleased that the new Mazda training centre is situated here", comments Agata Wybraniec-Supera, Project Manager at Mazda Motor Poland.

Marynarska Point is a complex consisting of two modern buildings that provide their tenants with comfortable working conditions. The Marynarska Point 2 building offers approximately 13,000 sq m of office space on 11 floors. It is located on Postępu Street, just a 15-minute drive from both the centre of Warsaw and Fryderyk Chopin Airport. In the immediate vicinity, there is one of the largest shopping centres - Galeria Mokotów. The location has good connections to other parts of the city as its well-served by road and public transport.

"I am pleased that another well-known company - Mazda, has moved to Marynarska Point 2. Despite the non-standard requirements of the tenant, we managed to meet them and deliver the training centre on time. In our complex, we always put the tenants first, it was no different in the case of Mazda Motor Poland. I am sure that this is the beginning of a fruitful relationship", adds Jarosław Wnuk, General Manager in Bluehouse Capital.

"Despite other competitive office hubs in the capital, interest in Służewiec from tenants and investors shows no sign of slacking off. Numerous investments in road infrastructure and development of residential and service functions make this part of Warsaw a multi-functional district. If we add to this the very favourable lease conditions and a wide selection of high standard office buildings, this Warsaw district is still a very attractive option for many employers. This is confirmed by the numbers - since 2013, over one million sq m of offices have been leased here. This performance continued in the first quarter of 2019 with almost 35,000 sq m, the best result of all office districts in Warsaw", says Wiktoria Weilandt, Consultant, Office Leasing, JLL.

"Warsaw’s Służewiec has been undergoing a real makeover for quite some time. Currently, in this district, which is one of the largest and most popular business regions in Poland, only one office building is under construction. Limited new supply directs tenants' attention towards existing office buildings. Służewiec has recently seen transport improvements and taken on a more multifunctional character, resulting primarily from the expansion of the residential market", says Lidia Malec, Associate in Office Landlord Representation Department, Savills.
