The real estate sector plays on the same team

Once again, leading organizations in the commercial real estate and associated sectors will unite for a noble cause during the 12th JLL Charity Real Estate Industry Beach Volleyball Tournament. During this year's tournament we will be able to follow the competitive clashes of nearly 60 teams. The event will be commentated by Łukasz Kadziewicz - a journalist from Onet.pl’s Przegląd Sportowy.

The event, held since 2010, annually unites leading commercial real estate companies around the idea of charity. The immediate goal of this year's 12th JLL Real Estate Industry Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament will be to raise funds for the construction of the third Ronald McDonald House in Poland, which is set to be built at the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw. The Houses are being built in the immediate vicinity of pediatric hospitals and provide families with comfortable accommodations, household facilities, the ability to prepare home-cooked meals, as well as allowing siblings to be brought from home so that the whole family can be together, even when treatment for a sick child takes place far from home. Two Houses are currently helping in Poland, in Cracow and Warsaw. The Homes help free of charge.

The commentator of the event, which will be held this year on August 3 at the Monta Beach Volley Club, will be Łukasz Kadziewicz - journalist of the Onet.pl Przegląd Sportowy and a former player for the Polish national volleyball team. Nearly 60 teams have signed up for the tournament, and a total of over 120 games will be played. After the tournament and the awards ceremony for the winning teams, an after party will be held, during which a charity auction for the Ronald McDonald Foundation will be held. In addition, the tournament's fundraising will be accompanied by an Allegro auction, where a number of valuable items will be auctioned off. The auction began on July 31 and will last for 10 days.

The Ronald McDonald Foundation has been supporting families of long-hospitalized children in Poland for 21 years, focusing on the idea of Family-Centered Care - caring for the entire family of the child undergoing treatment. The foundation's mission centers on providing closeness, a sense of security and emotional connection to the family of the child-patient. The foundation's programs take into account being present during the child's hospital stay, caring for his or her health and siblings, and being able to lead a normal life during a long-term hospitalization.

The tournament will be held on August 3, 2023 at the Monta Beach Volley Club in Warsaw. The games will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until 7:00 p.m. Admission to the matches is free, and the organizers encourage entire families to follow the games on the day of the tournament.
