VELUX office in Warsaw expands

The VELUX Group has renewed the lease agreement for its office in The Park Warsaw complex in Warsaw.

The VELUX Group has renewed the lease agreement for its office in The Park Warsaw complex in Warsaw. The company has also leased an additional 550 sq m of office space, expanding its headquarters to nearly 2,300 sq m. Experts from JLL once again represented VELUX Polska in the process of negotiating lease terms.

"The rapid growth of the company mainly due to the development of global functions that our employees provide to the group, has meant that the previous space was insufficient for us. The high technical standard of the building, as well as the infrastructure of the whole facility along with its many amenities for our employees, means that we feel comfortable here", comments Krzysztof Bogdziewicz, Senior Regional Facilities Manager, VELUX Group.

VELUX has been operating in Poland since 1990 and employs over 4,300 people with the majority working in four plants located in Gniezno (two factories), Namysłów and Wędkowy. It is a leader in the production and transport of roof windows and a very well-known brand in its sector.

The Park Warsaw is a self-sufficient office campus, located in Warsaw's Włochy district, close to the airport and important communication arteries, ensuring that the center and other parts of the city are within easy reach. As part of the investment, 10 Class A office buildings will be built with a total leasable area of ​​110,000 sq m. The Park Warsaw provides a high standard of technical specification of buildings and flexible solutions for open space offices, in accordance with the needs of both Polish and international companies. The complex received a BREEAM 'Excellent' certificate, awarded to leading sustainable development buildings.
