What apartments are the buyers looking for in the Tri-City? Which investment and housing features are most important to them when choosing? How much are they able to pay?

November 28, 2019

The time of record sales volumes achieved by developers in Tri-City has already passed. Housing prices soared up and almost caught up with those in Warsaw. Have this changed the attitude and expectations of buyers considering buying an apartment in Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot? What flats are they currently looking for? How much are they willing to pay, and what role does the demand from investors who buy for rent play in shaping this market?

An analysis of the preferences of buyers, who use the OBIDO platform to look for flats, has allowed a comparison of the main features that characterize the demand side with the nature of the developer offer, and an assessment of the degree of matching this resource to the expectations of buyers. The comparison of the most important indicators for Tri-city with those for Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław, the largest and most active markets in the country, allowed a closer look at this issue.
